An ECF online standard rated 5 round Swiss tournament(s) in July and August open to those with an association with Essex.
• Closing date for entries midnight on 4 th July
• Open and grade (ECF Jan 2020) limited sections according to entry
• 5 round Swiss played during July and August 2020
• G60’/15” (all moves in 60 minutes with 15 second increments from the start)
• ECF online standard rated
• Individual challenges in live chess on chess.com platform
• Games played on or by mutual agreement before default date and time
• Default date and time – Mondays at 7pm
• R1 13 July; R2 20 July; R3 03 August; R4 17 August; R5 31 August
• Parings published day following default date
• Parings, usernames, results, standings and cross table available from ECA website
• Player communications through chess.com messaging and Control communications
through Chess.com Club “Essex Chess Association”

A 5 round Swiss Tournament with 3 sections – FIDE-rated Open, Major (under 1975 FIDE-rated and under-170 ECF, Minor under (under 130 ECF)
All three sections are part of the EACU Marcus Misson Memorial 2019-20 Grand Prix
Rate of play: 40 moves in 90 minutes, followed by15 minutes to finish the game, with an increment of 15 seconds per move from move 1.
